33kHz Drainage/Rodding Sonde
The Drainage/Rodding Sonde is a versatile and powerful, self-contained waterproof transmitter. The Sonde can be attached to Flex Rods, Cobra Rods, Drain Rods or any movable device that can be propelled inside non-metallic pipes. Used correctly you can pinpoint the exact route of the pipe and where a blockage is underground from above ground!
The Sonde emits a strong radio signal which can be tracked above ground using an industry standard Cable Avoiding Tool (CAT) or Cable Locator which operates at the same frequency. This 33Khz frequency is the UK standard Sonde frequency for most applications
